All of the great singer songwriters, past and present stand as influences to Jay from Weller to Springsteen via McCartney.

Jay has produced a number of albums in the past that have been more of an outlet for his creativity than a commercial operation.

2009 saw a major shift in Jay’s music; writting new material that formed the base plate of a completely new sound. Stripping back the production and introducing both classical and folk themes, often using only one additional instrument such as cello, violin, piano or accordion to compliment the guitar or vocal line. His unbounded love of music remains at the core of his being.

2011 has shifted up another gear, with a brand new band line up, a host of new material and plans for a new album in 2012. Watch this space...
